The Super Falcons' preparation for the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations has encountered a setback after the Nigeria Football Federation withdrew the team from a scheduled friendly against Jamaica, according to Afrik-Foot.
After the Super Falcons were unable to play any matches during the March window, the NFF organized a friendly against Jamaica to be held in the United Kingdom.
Coach Justine Madugu intended to use the match to test new players and tactics ahead of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) slated for July.

The cancellation represents a significant setback for Madugu and his squad, who were seeking to regain match rhythm ahead of the approaching WAFCON.
