Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said referees must manage players contesting set‑piece situations.
Guardiola was questioned about the controversial VAR decision that resulted in Arsenal's 1‑0 victory over West Ham on Sunday.
Leandro Trossard’s late strike secured the win, while late drama unfolded when Calum Wilson’s goal was disallowed.
Although Wilson’s goal was initially signalled as a goal on the field, the referee was instructed to review the incident on the on‑field screen.

Asked about the incident, Guardiola said: “It’s a question for the referees…”
Guardiola also emphasized that his team is fully focused on their upcoming match against Crystal Palace.
He said: “Crystal Palace, Crystal Palace, and thinking about what we have to do.
“What you cannot control, forget about it.
“Do better, what we have not done better this season, to arrive in a better position to fight for the Premier League… And Crystal Palace…”
