RamosTakes Over as New Owner of Sevilla

Former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has taken ownership of LaLiga club Sevilla.

European transfer specialist and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported the development on his X account on Tuesday, citing Daily Sports.

The final terms of the agreement will be released later, but it is already confirmed that Ramos’s brother, René, supervised the entire process.

At this point the transaction is essentially complete, with both sides finalising the remaining minor details ahead of an official announcement.

Sevilla is the club where Ramos began his professional career, joining their academy and making his LaLiga debut in 2002.

He transferred to Real Madrid in 2005, returned to Sevilla for a single season in 2024, and then left again as a free agent.
