UCL: Carragher signs two players for Arsenal to address major upgrade needs

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has urged Arsenal to secure two key signings after the club’s Champions League final loss to Paris Saint‑Germain on Saturday.

Carragher says the Gunners need significant upgrades this summer, especially at centre‑forward and left‑wing, if they are to win the Champions League next season.

Speaking on Sky Sports News, the former Liverpool defender said, “I think the idea in the summer in terms of bringing Gyokeres in hasn’t quite worked out for them.”

“But I do look at the centre‑forward position, and I look at the left‑wing position, and I think they need big upgrades if they are going to win the Champions League.”

“Without them, they’ve come really close, penalties away, but when you look at the run they had to the Champions League final, it was a very favourable run.”

“That’s definitely where they need to improve in the summer.”
