Record producer and musician Osabuohien Osaretin, better known as Sarz, revealed that an inflated ego once kept him from collaborating with many of his peers.
In a frank interview with The Fadar, the “Back Outside” artist admitted that he was “very hot‑headed” at the beginning of his career and believed most of his colleagues were inferior to him.
The 37‑year‑old explained that, over time, he came to realize that he “doesn’t know it all.”
This realization opened him up to working with and learning from anyone in the industry, including newcomers.
“When I started making music, I was very hot‑headed. I really wanted to impress everybody. I just thought I was the best thing to exist in music.”
“But now I understand that I don’t know it all. I’m always willing to learn from anyone— even someone that just started yesterday,” he said.
