Afrobeats artist Mr Real has responded to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s recent economic advice to Nigerians amid the country’s worsening economic hardship.

Daily Post reported that Mrs Tinubu sparked mixed reactions after urging Nigerians to pursue small‑scale trades such as selling akara, kulikuli, and roasted corn, stating that these businesses require minimal startup costs.

Mr Real criticized the First Lady’s remarks as insensitive.

The “Legbegbe” hitmaker said he would prefer to join banditry rather than engage in the petty trades she recommended.

He added that he believes the government would eventually grant him amnesty and rehabilitate him if he were to join banditry.

On his Instagram, the singer wrote, “I go rather join bandit than to sell kulikuli and akara. And my target will be only politicians. At least if I am caught, they will rehabilitate me.”
