Ghana’s well‑known witch doctor Nana Kwaku Bonsam has announced that he will place a curse on England striker Harry Kane in an effort to improve the African nation’s prospects in their upcoming World Cup match, according to the Daily Star.
The two teams are scheduled to play each other on Tuesday. Nana, whose name literally means “Devil of Wednesday,” has previously claimed that his mystical practices gave Ghana an advantage.
He said he was responsible for the knee injury that sidelined Cristiano Ronaldo during the 2014 World Cup, and he now intends to target the prolific goal‑scorer from England.
Nana stated: “I am working on Harry Kane. I have shown what I am capable of before so I know what work I must do to stop him. I am very famous for my predictions.
“I am not wishing him serious injury. It will be just enough to stop him against my country. I will do my work so that it can help Ghana.”
He claims his powers originate from the Kofi Oo Kofi shrine and describes himself as “Africa’s only Authentic Man.” His alleged abilities include spiritual healing, protection, guidance and rituals.

He explained that he created a special powder from his gods, mixed with various leaves and concoctions, which he placed around an image and caricature of the former Manchester United star.
Nana said at the time: “I know what Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury is about, I’m working on him. I am very serious about it.
“Last week, I went around looking for four dogs and I got them to be used in manufacturing a special spirit called Kahwiri Kapam.
“I said it four months ago that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo seriously and rule him out of the World up or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana and the best thing I can do is to keep him out though injury.
“This injury can never be cured by any medic, they can never see what is causing the injury because it is spiritual. Today, it is his knee, tomorrow it is his thigh, next day it is something else.”
