Onuachu Shares Turkey’s Golden Boot Award with a Joint Winner

Paul Onuachu has emerged as the joint top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig, sharing the golden boot honour with Eldor Shomurodov.

The Nigeria international and Shomurodov, who plays for Istanbul Başakşehir, both finished the campaign with 22 goals apiece.

Shomurodov found the net against Gaziantep FK on the final day of the season to level with Onuachu.

Onuachu is now the sixth Trabzonspor player to claim the Turkish Super Lig top scorer award.

Fenerbahçe’s Anderson Talisca took third place with 19 goals.

Victor Osimhen was the top scorer in the Turkish top‑flight last season with 26 goals from 30 matches.

Osimhen was on target 15 times in 22 league appearances in the 2025/26 season.
