Kano Pillars technical adviser Mohammed Babaganaru expressed confidence that the club will retain its place in the top tier of Nigerian football at the season’s close, according to Completesports.com.
The four‑time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions enhanced their survival prospects with a hard‑earned 1‑0 win over Warri Wolves on Sunday.
Veteran midfielder Rabiu Ali converted a penalty at the 45‑minute mark to secure the decisive goal.
The victory lifted the Sai Masu to 10th place on the league table with 48 points.
Kano Pillars will travel to Jos for their final league match against Plateau United.
Babaganaru Focuses On Survival Battle
Babaganaru’s side must avoid defeat in the 38th‑matchday fixture to stay clear of relegation.

“We thank God for securing all three points and keeping a clean sheet. It was a good win for us,” Babaganaru said after the Warri Wolves game.
“Our next match is against Plateau United, and anything can happen. If you look at the table, Plateau United are also struggling. I think they have 47 points, while we have 48. Anything can happen, as I said earlier, until the end of the season.”
“We are focused, determined, and optimistic about surviving relegation in the final match of the season.”
