The West African country earned a total of 12 medals: four gold, five silver, and three bronze.
Nigeria’s final gold came in the women’s 4×400 m relay final on Sunday.

The relay team—Esther Okon, Toheebat Jimoh, Jecinter Lawrence, and Patience Okon‑George—completed the race in 3:29.25 to secure the victory.

Kenya and Ethiopia were the only other nations that finished ahead of Nigeria in the standings.
