The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that 24 vessels are presently unloading petroleum products and other goods at the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea, and Tin‑Can Island ports in Lagos State.
These ships are offloading a variety of cargoes, including bulk wheat, bulk salt, general cargo, fresh fish, containers, bulk sugar, petrol, bulk gas, diesel, and bulk urea.
In addition, the NPA reports that another 46 vessels carrying petroleum products, food supplies, and other merchandise are scheduled to arrive at the Lagos ports in the coming days.
Incoming ships are expected to bring general cargo, bulk urea, crude oil, bulk gas, bulk wheat, bulk millet, bulk sugar, condensate, aviation fuel, containers with assorted goods, bulk salt, and petrol.
The authority also noted that nine vessels have already arrived and are awaiting berthing approval.
These waiting ships are carrying consignments such as bulk urea, crude oil, diesel, aviation fuel, gasoline, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, and petrol.
