Fuoye Suspends Two Students After Adult Video of SUG President Adio Is Leaked

Federal University, Oye‑Ekiti (FUOYE) has suspended two students immediately after they allegedly posted a leaked sex video of the university’s student union president, James Iyanuoluwa Adio.

The suspension was announced on the university’s website on Friday.

Daily Post reports that the SUG president had previously been suspended over allegations of extorting students.

In a statement from the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Tajudeen Opoola, who is acting as Vice Chancellor, the university said the two students “conspired to cyberbully Adio by posting his private affairs online because he could not meet their financial demands.”

The suspended students are identified as Alao Iyanuoluwa Odunayo and Olawale Abiodun Samuel.

The statement added that the school management “frowned at the involvement of the two students in denting the image of the university.”

While the investigation continues, the university ordered the students to be suspended immediately, noting that it is determined to eliminate any behaviour that could damage FUOYE’s reputation.
