Juventus, the record‑holding Serie A champions, have expressed interest in Nigerian‑eligible Italian right‑back Michael Kayode, reports Afrik Foot.
The 21‑year‑old has been regarded as one of the Premier League’s top full‑backs since moving from Fiorentina to Brentford in January 2025, and is known for his long throws.
Kayode’s market value has risen and he has been linked with a return to Italy, but the player is not eager to join the Old Ladies.

Born in Italy to Nigerian parents, Kayode’s recent comments effectively closed the possibility of a future call‑up to the Super Eagles. He remains a member of Italy’s U‑21 squad while awaiting a senior national team invitation.
When asked about Juventus’ interest, the Brentford right‑back said he was flattered, but preferred the Premier League.
“I know [about Juventus’ interest], and it’s an honour,” he told Tuttosport.
“This is a fantastic world, where I feel so well. Brentford have a fantastic project. I was lucky to find this club, which we hope to bring to Europe in the last two games of the season.”
“The Premier League is the Disneyland of world football. It’s all perfect, and I’m so happy here.”
“There isn’t a more competitive league in terms of structure, quality of play, and players.”
