Coventry City confirm permanent signing of Onyeka

Coventry City have confirmed the permanent signing of Frank Onyeka, according to the Daily Post.

The midfielder joined the Sky Blues on loan from Brentford in January.

After securing promotion to the Premier League, Coventry activated the option to make the move permanent.

The club will pay Brentford €8 million for the defensive midfielder.

Onyeka was instrumental in Coventry’s rise to the top flight, registering one goal and one assist in 14 Championship appearances.

He has also been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for April.
