Mohammed departs Kwara United after contract expires

Kwara United defender Kabiru Mohammed has departed the club after his contract expired.

The move ends Mohammed’s three‑year tenure with the Harmony Boys.

The experienced centre‑back will now seek a new club ahead of the 2026‑27 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Mohammed’s leadership and experience were pivotal during his time at Kwara United.

He played a key role in helping the team avoid relegation last season.

Mohammed was also part of the Kwara United squad that won the President’s Federation Cup last year.
