In Igboho community, Oyo State, a pregnant woman, her children, and a sibling were freed several hours after Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Igboho, issued a two‑hour ultimatum.

According to DAILY POST, Igboho warned on Saturday that the kidnappers must release the victims within two hours, directing his message at Fulani community leaders in the area.

The activist cited the growing number of kidnappings and insecurity in the country, especially in the Southwest, as a reason for his stern warning.

A viral video shows Igboho speaking in Yoruba to local stakeholders, accusing some members of the Fulani community of kidnapping residents and referencing the case involving the pregnant woman.

He expressed grief that the individual who delivered ransom to the bandits was murdered by the assailants.

“The person who brought the ransom, you still killed him and spared only one person,” Igboho said angrily, warning that such incidents must not recur.

Hours after the ultimatum, a video clip appeared on social media showing community members celebrating the return of the victims.

While details of the release remain sparse, it appears the kidnappers complied with Igboho’s warning and released the victims.
