The Three Lions aim to secure a second World Cup title at the 2026 tournament, which will be held in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Iwobi Rooting For England

Iwobi believes the European giants possess the ability to win the trophy.

“I personally believe England have a great chance of winning the World Cup,” Iwobi told Sky Sports Football.

“They’ve got so many stars in the team and so much ability. Even the players who are not starting can come off the bench and hurt the opposition.”

“So, I’ll say England, but I also believe France are strong contenders. The attacking threat that France have is scary, but I actually hope England wins it.”

The Three Lions are scheduled to play Ghana's Black Stars at Gillette Stadium on Tuesday night.
