Juventus, the Serie A powerhouse, has reportedly shown interest in Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, according to the DAILY POST.
After facing setbacks in securing Aston Villa’s goalkeeper, Juventus has turned to Okoye as a potential alternative to the Argentine, the Italian outlet Tutto Udinese reports.
Okoye, who has represented Nigeria internationally, had an impressive season with Udinese, earning the club’s Player of the Season award.
The 26‑year‑old recorded nine clean sheets in 30 league matches for the Zebras.
Udinese is reportedly willing to sell Okoye if they can secure a suitable replacement.
Bologna’s goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia is being considered by the Friuli‑based club as a possible successor.
