Iran state TV reports U.S. denied visas to 15 members of the World Cup delegation.

According to Iran’s state television, the United States—one of the three host nations for the 2026 World Cup—has declined visa applications for 15 members of the Iranian delegation.

A reporter from the channel, speaking from Antalya, Turkey, where the Iranian team is currently training, said: “Visas have been issued for the national team and the technical staff, but there are 15 members of the administration and management whose visas are problematic and have not been issued by the US.”
