I have evidence ADC primary was rigged – Babachir Lawal insists

Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, claims he has evidence that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) primary election was rigged.

In an interview on “Politics Today,” a program on Channels Television aired Monday, Lawal said he was present in the field and observed the exercise.

He dismissed claims from supporters of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as untrue, stating that a thief would not admit to being a thief.

“Don’t forget I was the National Vice Chairman (Northeast). I was in the field during the exercise, so I have evidence,” he said.

“Atiku’s people are the ones lying by trying to deny what they did. We are all human beings. We know what they did,” Lawal added.

“I knew the primary was rigged at the point it was being conducted and the results being declared,” he concluded.
