Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has emerged as a top transfer target for several of Europe’s biggest clubs ahead of the summer transfer window, Afrik-Foot reports.
The 27-year-old has been the subject of transfer speculation for several years and interest in his signature has come from across Europe and even Saudi Arabia, although he turned down a lucrative offer from the Middle East before joining Galatasaray in 2024.
Osimhen initially arrived at the Turkish giants on loan before Galatasaray paid €75 million to sign him permanently from Napoli last summer, in what was the most expensive transfer in Turkish football history.

He has scored 59 goals in 74 appearances across all competitions and has helped Galatasaray win three trophies during his two-year spell at the club.
While the Cimbom have been reluctant to entertain offers for Osimhen due to his importance to the team, growing interest from some of Europe’s elite clubs could eventually soften their stance.
Galatasaray set Osimhen asking price
According to Nevzat Dindar, via Forza Cimbom, Galatasaray will only consider offers above €150 million before sanctioning the sale of Osimhen this summer.

As a result, they are in a strong position and believe they can retain him for longer which could see them command an even higher fee in the future.
Several of the clubs interested in Osimhen have the financial capacity to meet such a valuation and should a deal worth €150 million materialize, it would make the Nigerian striker the third most expensive player in football history behind Neymar’s €222 million move and Kylian Mbappe’s €180 million transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
Osimhen has also repeatedly expressed his desire to remain at Galatasaray. The 27-year-old also clarified comments made by Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle, who suggested the striker would miss Nigeria’s friendly matches against Poland and Portugal as he focuses on matters relating to his club future.
Where will Osimhen end up?
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen continues to attract strong interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs as they prepare to strengthen their squads for next season.

The Premier League heavyweights reportedly have around €300 million available for summer recruitment and could raise additional funds through player sales, which would put them in a strong position to pursue a deal.
Chelsea and Arsenal are also monitoring the situation. The Blues came close to signing Osimhen in 2024 before negotiations collapsed over personal terms and are now hoping to make the Nigerian a key part of their future plans under Xabi Alonso.
Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are another club interested in the Super Eagles striker, although their pursuit depends on the future of Julian Alvarez. A move would see him reunite with fellow Nigerian international Ademola Lookman, who joined the club earlier in the year for around €35 million.
Alvarez has been linked with a potential departure, and any sale would provide Atletico with the financial resources needed to pursue Osimhen as their preferred replacement.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping tabs on the Galatasaray star, making competition for his signature very intense.
Whether Osimhen remains in Istanbul or moves elsewhere, his future is expected to be one of the major stories of the summer transfer window.
