Chelsea confirm signing of Morgan

The Blues announced on its website that Morgan has completed a permanent transfer to English club West Bromwich Albion.

The 20‑year‑old began his career in Chelsea’s Academy, returned to the Premier League side from Southampton in February 2023, and spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan at League Two club Gillingham, scoring twice in 16 appearances.

He then joined Peterborough United for the current campaign, netting 14 goals in 39 matches across all competitions as the Posh finished 18th in League One.

“Everybody at Chelsea wishes Jimmy‑Jay the best of luck as he embarks on a new chapter in his career,” the club’s statement added.
