Chelle Urges Flying Eagles to Stay Focused at the WAFU U‑20 Tournament

Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has urged the country’s U‑20 side, the Flying Eagles, to stay focused as they ramp up preparations for the WAFU B tournament in Côte d’Ivoire next month.

Chelle visited the Flying Eagles in Abuja on Friday, shortly after the squad’s 5‑0 friendly win over Bussdor United.

The Malian coach reminded the players that paying close attention to their coaches can boost their careers.

“If you want to succeed, go far to achieve your dreams, you have to be focused and secondly, listen attentively to your coaches,” Chelle advised.

“If you do these, the sky will definitely be your starting point and chances for you to succeed is high.”

The Flying Eagles are the defending champions of the WAFU B U‑20 tournament, which will also serve as qualifiers for the 2027 Africa U‑20 Cup of Nations.
