Casemiro Likely to Join Messi at Inter Miami Following Departure from Manchester United

Brazilian midfielder Casemiro is close to completing a move to Inter Miami CF after agreeing to leave Manchester United when his contract expires.

Transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano reports that all parties have reached a verbal agreement; only the final paperwork and official announcement remain. The 34‑year‑old will join Lionel Messi in Major League Soccer, ending his two‑year spell at Old Trafford.

Casemiro had a strong finish to the season, helping United secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League. The club and player have reportedly decided not to extend his contract, opening the door for a new challenge in the United States.

Inter Miami has long been viewed as a favourite to sign the former Real Madrid star, despite interest from clubs in Italy and Saudi Arabia.

The chance to play alongside Messi is believed to have been a key factor in Casemiro’s decision to continue his career in Florida.
