Aston Villa Enter Race For Super Eagles Winger

Aston Villa have joined the growing list of clubs monitoring Millwall winger Femi Azeez, reports Completesports.com.

Azeez has emerged as one of the most sought-after players in the Sky Bet Championship following a superb 2025/26 campaign with the Lions.

The 25-year-old scored 11 goals and provided eight assists in 34 league appearances.

His outstanding displays earned him a place in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season.

Aston Villa Battle Premier League Clubs For Azeez

Premier League clubs Brighton & Hove Albion, Bournemouth and Ipswich Town have all previously been linked with the talented winger.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Aston Villa have now entered the race as Unai Emery looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

Villa are keen to add more pace, creativity and depth in the wide areas, with Azeez viewed as a player capable of making the step up to the Premier League.

Millwall are reportedly holding out for at least €20 million to part ways with the player.

Azeez’s outstanding performances also earned him his senior Nigeria debut in May, and he marked the occasion with a brace in a 2-0 victory over Zimbabwe.
