Akinsamiro to join Pisa on a permanent transfer.

Nigeria midfielder Ebenezer Akinsamiro is nearing a permanent move to Serie B side Pisa, DAILY POST reports.

The 21‑year‑old joined Pisa on loan from Serie A champions Inter Milan last summer.

According to reports, Pisa has exercised the €7.5 million purchase option in Akinsamiro’s contract.

However, the club is still awaiting Inter’s decision on the proposal.

The defensive midfielder performed well for Pisa last season, even though the Black and Blues were relegated to Serie B.

He provided one assist in 24 league appearances for the club.
