12 Teams Eliminated from the 2026 World Cup

At least 12 teams have been eliminated from the 2026 World Cup before Saturday’s final group matches.

Iraq, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand are the most recent countries to be knocked out.

Senegal defeated 10‑man Iraq 5‑0 to secure third place in Group I, while New Zealand fell 5‑1 to a revived Belgium side.

Uruguay lost 1‑0 to Spain, and Saudi Arabia were eliminated after a 0‑0 draw with Cape Verde.

A total of 16 teams will ultimately miss the knockout stage.
