Marcus Rashford urged England to maintain relentless intensity that Ghana will find difficult to withstand as the team seeks to secure a spot in the World Cup knockout rounds with a match to spare.

Thomas Tuchel’s side began Group L with a 4‑2 win over Croatia in Dallas, with Harry Kane scoring twice early in a frenetic opening phase before the team delivered a decisive second‑half performance.

Jude Bellingham found the net shortly after the restart as England launched a sustained attack, and substitute Rashford sealed the win, a result the squad aims to carry forward into their match against Ghana.

“I think we have to bring an intensity that they can’t live with and we try and stick to that,” Rashford said to the Football Association, as reported by Irish News.

“If we can play at that level, it can win you games.”

“The one thing we can predict is how we conduct ourselves over 90 minutes or 120 minutes.”

“So, I think we just have to focus on that as players. We just have to keep pushing ourselves. We’re definitely capable.”
