World Cup 2026: Neymar names Brazil’s ultimate star, saying he decides games.

Brazil forward Neymar has identified teammate Vinicius Junior as the team’s standout player in the current FIFA World Cup.

Neymar made this statement during a post‑match interview after his first appearance at the tournament on Wednesday.

The Santos forward entered the game as a substitute when Brazil beat Scotland 3‑0 at Miami Stadium.

Vinicius scored twice against Scotland, while Matheus Cunha added a goal in the same match.

"Vinicius Jr is our star at this World Cup. He’s deciding games, he’s doing great," Neymar said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

Vinicius now has four goals from three matches, having found the net against Morocco and Haiti.
