Galatasaray and their star striker, Victor Osimhen, met Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Monday night.

The meeting followed the club’s championship celebrations, which brought the team to the Presidential Dolmabahçe Working Office.

Osimhen used the occasion to express his gratitude to the president.

The Galatasaray delegation, led by club president Dursun Aydın Özbük and manager Okan Buruk, was welcomed by Erdoğan to honor their triumph.

Osimhen was a key figure as The Lion secured a fourth consecutive title with one match to spare, scoring fifteen goals and supplying five assists in twenty‑two appearances.

During the ceremony, the Nigerian international delivered a brief message to President Erdoğan, thanking him for the invitation and the honor of being received at the presidential office.

Osimhen said, “Thank you very much for receiving us. It is always a great pleasure to be in your presence.”

“As our president mentioned, we must secure the cup to meet you in person.”

Osimhen returned to Galatasaray on a permanent basis last summer after a successful loan spell, signing a four‑year contract that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2029.
