‘Trustworthy, firm politician’ – PDP hails Agbedi’s emergence as Reps Minority Leader

The Taminu Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) welcomed the appointment of Bayelsa lawmaker Frederick Agbedi as Minority Leader of the House of Representatives.

In a statement issued by the faction’s National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ini Ememobong, Agbedi was described as a trustworthy and firm politician.

The statement added that his elevation reflected the trust and confidence the party places in his leadership skills.

“We party welcomed the announcement made by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, during the plenary earlier today,” the statement read.

“Agbedi is a trustworthy, firm, irrepressible and principled politician, who responds only to conviction, not convenience,” it added.

Daily Post reports that Agbedi previously served as the state chairman of the PDP in Bayelsa.
