Soludo Names Ebuka Onyekwelu as Senior Media Advisor

Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has named Dr. Ebuka Onyekwelu his senior aide for media affairs.

The appointment, announced on Thursday, came three months after Soludo began his second term in office.

Onyekwelu is a seasoned political journalist with more than ten years of experience in media and journalism. He holds a background in Political Science and a doctorate in Development Studies. In addition, Dr. Onyekwelu has extensive experience in political communication and perception management, and he is known for his intellectual depth and calm demeanor. His addition to the governor’s team has been widely welcomed as a valuable asset.

On Saturday morning, Onyekwelu expressed his gratitude to Governor Soludo following the appointment.

Speaking, he said, “I thank His Excellency, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, for offering me the opportunity to serve. I must confess that getting to know the governor has been such a refreshing experience.”

When asked about the responsibilities assigned by the governor, Onyekwelu said he was charged with ambitious goals.

“His charge to me was inspiring: ‘Let’s do big things,’” Dr. Onyekwelu reported the governor to have told him.

With his expertise in strategic and political communication, Governor Soludo’s new aide is expected to contribute significantly to the advancement of Anambra State.
