Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma, expressed satisfaction with the team’s qualification for the final of the 2026 President Federation Cup.
The Amazons defeated Sunshine Queens 2‑1 in the semi‑final held in Enugu on Thursday.
They will face Heartland Queens in the final.
Danjuma said he expects a strong final match.
“We thank God; last year we reached the finals of the President Federation Cup, and now we are in the finals again. We believe this will be a great final,” Danjuma told the club’s media.
Danjuma urged his squad not to underestimate Heartland Queens.
“Once again, I thank God for my wards. In the Super Six, we finished third. It’s important not to lose concentration; just believe. We know what Heartland Queens can bring to the table.”
The Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, will host the grand finale of the competition on July 11, 2026.
