NPFL: Alex Oweilayefa Signs Three-Year Deal with Bendel Insurance

Bendel Insurance forward Alex Oweilayefa has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2029.

The 19‑year‑old sealed the deal with the Benin Arsenals on Wednesday.

Oweilayefa was one of the club’s standout performers in the Nigeria Premier Football League last season.

He scored 10 goals in 21 appearances for Insurance.

The new contract is expected to end speculation about his future.

Insurance will start pre‑season training on July 5 after a three‑week break.
