The Nationwide League One (NLO) has rescheduled the aborted play‑off match between FC Ebedei and Yewa FA, reports the DAILY POST.

The match was halted because a serious on‑pitch accident required an immediate stoppage.

The NLO said the incident made it necessary to stop play in order to protect player safety and provide medical care.

FC Ebedei player Kehinde Abdulquadri collided with Yewa FA goalkeeper Olalere Ridwan, who remained unconscious and was rushed to hospital.

The NLO expressed deep empathy for the affected players and the management of both clubs, describing the situation as a challenging time.

The NLO ordered that the remaining minutes be played at a neutral venue in Ajegunle, Lagos.

The match was stopped in the 45th minute with a 0–0 scoreline.

The encounter will resume from the exact point of interruption, with the same minute, scoreline, and on‑field referees.

Kick‑off is scheduled for Tuesday, 30 June 2026, at 10:00 AM to determine a definitive winner.

Both clubs have been instructed to arrive with players and officials at least one hour before kick‑off.

The NLO said it will provide the necessary security and medical logistics to ensure a smooth conclusion of the encounter.
