Jude Bellingham called his teammate Harry Kane the “best England player of all time” after the Bayern Munich striker became England’s record World Cup goal scorer, according to Yahoo Sports.
Bellingham delivered a cross that Kane headed in for England’s second goal in a 2-0 victory over Panama, helping Thomas Tuchel’s side advance to the knockout stage as group winners. The goal was Kane’s 11th in World Cup history, surpassing Gary Lineker’s record of ten.
“I think I’ve built a good relationship with Harry over the last four or five years, especially after Qatar, you know, playing so close together,” Bellingham, who opened the scoring against Panama, said when asked about his relationship with Kane.
“It’s an honour to play with him. For me, he’s the best England player of all time. He’s the one who has shown up more than anyone, more than any England player.”

“He’s at a level at the minute that’s just incredible. You don’t doubt him at all in terms of whether he’s involved, whether he’s not. You know he’s going to make a difference in the game and he did again today.”
England will now face DR Congo in the round of 32 after topping their group, a result Bellingham described as a key achievement.
“We had the goal in mind before the tournament began to take it in stages, and we’ve achieved our first objective, which was to win the group.”
“Today’s win is important because it gives us control over our path and the venues we will face.”
