Nasarawa Amazons and Heartland Queens Reach Women’s Final in President Federation Cup

Nasarawa Amazons and Heartland Queens will face each other in the final of the 2026 Women’s President Federation Cup, DAILY POST reports.

Chris Danjuma’s Nasarawa Amazons beat Sunshine Queens 2-1 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

Ayatsea Hembafan gave Nasarawa the lead in the 18th minute, while Sunshine Queens levelled in the third minute of added time.

Jumoke Alani then scored the winner for Nasarawa a minute later.

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Heartland Queens defeated FC Robo Queens 2-1 in their semi‑final.

Umejiaku Oluebube opened the scoring for Heartland with a header in the 18th minute.

FC Robo equalised after the break through Tosin Rafiu.

With the match heading toward extra time, Faith Samson headed home Chizoba Johnson’s corner in the 87th minute to secure Heartland’s place in the final.

The final will be held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Saturday, 11 July.
