Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State urged tighter collaboration, improved intelligence sharing, and coordinated actions among federal and state authorities to address Nigeria’s growing security challenges.

He made the appeal on Thursday as he opened the 2026 Federal and States Security Administrators Meeting (FSSAM) in Jos, a key assembly of security administrators from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, senior government officials, and representatives of agencies under the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).
