Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of 13-Year-Old Housemaid in Adamawa

A 48‑year‑old man has been arrested for allegedly luring a 13‑year‑old housegirl into his house and spending a night with her.

The Adamawa State Police Command disclosed that the suspect, who lives alone in Yolde Pate, a community in Yola South Local Government Area, lured the girl into his apartment and sexually assaulted her during the night.

State police spokesman SP Suleiman Nguroje said the girl had previously been declared missing by her master.

Nguroje added that the master was compelled to file a missing‑person report after extensive searches failed to locate the girl following her disappearance.

The spokesman confirmed that the suspect, identified as Adamu Mohammed, would face prosecution once the investigation is completed.
