Ligue 1 club plans to sign Fernandez.

Stade Rennes, a Ligue 1 club, have added themselves to the list of teams pursuing Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez, according to DAILY POST.

Fernandez, who joined Rangers from League One side Peterborough United last summer for approximately £3.5 million, has evolved into one of Europe’s top defenders.

The 24‑year‑old earned Rangers’ Player of the Season award and was selected for the Scottish Premiership Team of the Season.

He has also been capped three times for Nigeria at the international level.

Ouest‑France reports that Fernandez is among Rennes’ three defensive targets.

Other clubs monitoring the Nigerian international include Feyenoord, Bayer Leverkusen, and Borussia Dortmund.
