Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that a final agreement to end the conflict between Iran and the United States has not yet been reached.

Pezeshkian made the comment in a post on X, even as U.S. President Donald Trump celebrated a memorandum of understanding between the two countries.

“What has been agreed upon is an important step towards stopping the war and starting negotiations,” the president said.

He added that while Iran has prepared for all options, it has learned not to submit to humiliation.

“The memorandum of understanding that has been developed is the result of months of continuous dialogue,” he said.

The Islamic Republic’s president described the memorandum as a document of pride for Iran and reiterated that Iran has prepared for all options despite the tentative agreement.

Trump has said the deal will be signed on Friday, initiating a 60‑day period of further negotiations, including discussions on Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
