Turkish football transfer specialist Burhan Can Terzi revealed that a European club has put forward a €120 million bid to acquire Victor Osimhen from Galatasaray this summer.
He added that the club is prepared to present the offer to Galatasaray, but the Turkish side has not yet authorised any negotiations.
Osimhen enjoyed an outstanding season in the Turkish Süper Lig, scoring 22 goals and delivering eight assists in 33 matches across all competitions.
His performances were key to the Yellow‑Reds’ successful title defence, attracting interest from several top European clubs.
The Nigerian international has been linked with moves to Paris Saint‑Germain, Manchester United, Chelsea, and more recently, Atlético Madrid.
Reports suggest Atlético is considering Osimhen as a potential replacement for Julian Álvarez if the Argentine leaves amid growing interest from Barcelona.
Amid the ongoing speculation, Terzi said the Süper Lig champions have been informed of genuine interest from an unnamed European club.
Terzi added that the club has told Galatasaray officials it is ready to pay the substantial transfer fee for the Super Eagles star.
However, the Turkish champions reportedly did not respond favourably, signalling their intent to keep the prolific forward.
“A European club has informed Galatasaray officials that it is willing to pay a transfer fee of €120 million for Osimhen,” he was quoted as saying by habersarikirmizi.
“Galatasaray management did not give a favourable response. If Galatasaray approves negotiations, a formal offer will be submitted.”
With the new season approaching, the Turkish giants are eager to retain Osimhen as they aim to compete for further trophies domestically and in European competitions.
