EPL: No one like Guardiola – Haaland’s father says Maresca is the new Man City manager

Alfie, the father of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, has said that no manager on earth can match Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola left the Premier League club at the end of last season.

The Spaniard is expected to be succeeded by Enzo Maresca, who was dismissed by Chelsea in January.

“No one can replace Pep Guardiola, but it’s a new chapter for Man City,” Alfie told RMC.

“It looks like Enzo Maresca will replace him. He’s a good choice, even though he’s had a difficult season. I think he’ll get along well with Erling, and it’s a new era.”
