Chelsea announce that four players will leave the club.

Chelsea officially announced on Wednesday that four of its players will leave Stamford Bridge when their current contracts expire at the end of June.

A statement released by the Premier League West London club named the players as Brodi Hughes, Richard Olise, Jimi Tauriainen and Sam Rak‑Sakyi.

Hughes, a defender, joined Chelsea as an Under‑8, 13 years ago, and progressed through the ranks at Cobham.

Olise, who joined as an Under‑9, has featured throughout the Academy age groups and was named in the first‑team squad for the UEFA Conference League trip to Astana during the 2024/25 season.

Tauriainen was signed in 2020 and was named among the first‑team substitutes for Chelsea’s Carabao Cup final against Liverpool in 2024.

Rak‑Sakyi joined the Academy as an eight‑year‑old and has made four senior appearances.
