Axxela Names Ogbe as Board Chair to Strengthen Corporate Governance

Axxela Limited announced the addition of new non‑executive board members to enhance strategic oversight and reinforce corporate governance as the company prepares for its next phase of rapid growth.

The new board members include Nzan Ogbe, founder and pioneer CEO of Levene Energy Holdings, who will serve as Axxela’s board chairman, according to a statement signed by Corporate Communications & Branding Manager Omolara Shitu.

Additional board members are Eric Idiahi, Dolu Olugbenjo, Olufemi Okin, Moshood Olajide, Kaat Van Hecke, and Jeremy Bending.

Axxela said the members’ combined experience in business leadership, financial management, and infrastructure development will reinforce the company’s post‑divestment governance framework and steer its expansion of gas infrastructure and delivery of sustainable energy solutions across industries and markets.

Ogbe, the board chairman, founded and served as the first CEO of Levene Energies and currently chairs LPV Energies. With more than 30 years of experience building businesses in commercial trading, energy, real estate, and telecoms, he is recognized as one of Africa’s most resourceful business leaders for his leadership and dedication to sustainability.
