Super Eagles forward Tolu Arokodare heads into the summer transfer window with uncertainty surrounding his future at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Afrik‑Foot reports.
The Super Eagles forward joined Wolves last summer in a deal worth around £24 million from Belgian side KRC Genk, where he had previously won the Golden Boot before leaving the club.
However, Arokodare has endured a difficult debut season in the Premier League, with his move not going according to plan. He has made 37 appearances across all competitions and has scored just six goals and provided two assists.
The 25‑year‑old managed just three goals in the Premier League, a disappointing return for a striker who arrived with high expectations. He was also reportedly involved in a dressing‑room bust‑up with teammate Mateus Mane in April.

Wolves makes stance clear on Tolu Arokodare’s future
The future of Tolu Arokodare has been uncertain since Wolves’ relegation to the EFL Championship, especially given his underwhelming form and failure to meet expectations this season.
According to TalkSport via Tribal Football, Wolves are considering sanctioning an exit for the Super Eagles forward ahead of the summer transfer window, with his long‑term future at the club now in doubt.
The Premier League club are reportedly open to a loan move, as finding a permanent buyer could be difficult given his struggles this season and the level of interest expected from potential suitors.

He was mostly used as a substitute and his return of three goals reflects Wolves’ overall attacking struggles this season.
The 25‑year‑old’s relationship with fans has also been affected. After missing a penalty in a 1‑0 defeat to Crystal Palace in February, he was subjected to racist abuse online from some sections of the club’s supporters.
Where will Arokodare end up?
With a departure from Wolves now looking increasingly likely, Arokodare’s long‑term future at the club appears to be nearing its end. However, the club are not under pressure to sell quickly, as his contract runs until 2030, although his performances mean the club are unlikely to receive major offers for a permanent transfer at this stage.
As a result, a loan move appears to be the most realistic option and he has been linked with a possible move to the Turkish Super Lig, with the likes of Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas all monitoring his situation, as well as a return to Belgium.

If the Argentine eventually leaves, the club may look to sign a striker who can provide support for first‑choice forward Victor Osimhen, which could open the door for a potential Super Eagles partnership in Turkey and help him settle quickly.
For now, Arokodare is expected to finish the season with Wolves in their final match against fellow relegated side Burnley on Sunday. After that, he will hope to secure the right move this summer to revive his career and rediscover his goalscoring form.
