Traditional rulers, president generals, women’s groups and youth leaders from the Arochukwu and Ohafia local government areas have pledged their support to Abia State Governor Alex Otti for his 2027 re‑election campaign.
The pledge was delivered on Saturday during a visit by the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, which was part of a state‑wide sensitisation tour of local government areas; the participants said the governor’s performance merited another term.
Addressing audiences at the Arochukwu headquarters and at Ebem Ohafia, the chairman of the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Linus Nto Mbah, listed the governor’s achievements since taking office, emphasizing that his performance spans all sectors.
He said, “Since Governor Alex Otti assumed office, we have been witnessing a lot of positive impacts in Abia State. Civil servants and pensioners are receiving their entitlements regularly.
