Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has officially confirmed this is the last time he will play at the World Cup.
Ronaldo stated this during a press conference on Sunday, ahead of their last-16 clash with Spain.
The 41-year-old’s sister, Katia, had hinted that the Al Nassr forward would retire from international football after the tournament.
Ronaldo himself has come out to say he won’t be at the 2030 edition of the competition.
“Yes, it’s my last one. Let’s go and enjoy it,” Ronaldo said.
Ronaldo is the oldest player to feature in six different World Cups.
