Alex Iwobi will receive a commemorative plaque to mark his 100th cap for the Super Eagles, DAILY POST reports.
The 30‑year‑old midfielder is set to reach the milestone in tonight’s friendly against Portugal.
He will join an exclusive group of Nigerian internationals who have reached a century of appearances.
Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, former captains Joseph Yobo and Ahmed Musa are the other players to have hit this benchmark.
With 99 caps, Iwobi has scored 10 goals and provided eight assists for the national side.
The Fulham midfielder made his debut for the Super Eagles in a match against the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2015.
