According to Afrik‑Foot, French side Rennes has entered the competition to acquire Super Eagles centre‑back Emmanuel Fernandez before the summer transfer window opens.

Ouest‑France, quoted by The Scottish Sun, says the three‑time French Cup winners are the newest club to show interest in the Nigerian defender as they gear up for the upcoming season.

Fernandez moved to Rangers from English lower‑league club Peterborough United last summer and soon became one of the team’s standout performers amid a challenging campaign.
